R&D - Intern/Trainee
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the formulation and compounding of rubber and polymer blends.

Conduct laboratory tests such as rheometry, tensile, hardness, elongation, compression set, and aging.

Support new material development and process optimization initiatives.

Collect, record, and analyze experimental data and report findings.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Production, and Procurement.

Contribute to documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports.

Stay updated on emerging trends in elastomer and polymer technology.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc in Rubber Technology, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

Basic understanding of rubber compounding, additives, and polymer characterization techniques.

Familiarity with testing standards (ASTM, ISO) and equipment such as Mooney Viscometer, Rheometer, and UTM is a plus.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.

Good communication and documentation skills.
